Eventually, I found my voice, first as a child actor at Sylvia Young Theatre School, and later, thanks to my dad’s unquenchable thirst for laughter, as a stand-up comedian.In 2021, I put stand-up on hold to care for my mum. Much of the strength and resilience of the women in my stories comes from her.I’ve always been fascinated by religion, mythology and philosophy. Mostly because we’ve spent thousands of years killing each other over them and still seem no closer to an answer.I don’t claim to have the answers either. So instead of telling you what to think, I hide the questions inside my stories and leave you to decide what to believe once the easy answers disappear.
